NPS 1/2 to NPS 6: Galvanized pipes are available in a range of sizes, starting from 1/2 inch nominal pipe size (NPS) to 6 inches NPS.
Schedule 40 and Schedule 80: Galvanized pipes are available in two main schedules, Schedule 40 and Schedule 80. Schedule 40 pipes have a thinner wall thickness and are commonly used for low-pressure applications, while Schedule 80 pipes have a thicker wall thickness and are used for high-pressure applications.
Wall thickness: The wall thickness of galvanized pipes can vary depending on the size and schedule of the pipe. For example, a 1/2 inch Schedule 40 galvanized pipe typically has a wall thickness of 0.109 inches, while a 6 inch Schedule 40 galvanized pipe typically has a wall thickness of 0.280 inches.
Length: Galvanized pipes are typically available in standard lengths of 21 feet or 24 feet. However, they can be cut to shorter lengths or provided in longer lengths up to 40 feet upon request.
